The Hardinge Conquest T42 is a compact CNC turning center built around a 41 mm bar capacity and a 229 mm maximum turning diameter. It combines GE Fanuc 18-T control with a 12-station turret, tailstock and C axis, giving it more flexibility than a basic two-axis chucking lathe for smaller precision parts and secondary operations.
The enclosed Hardinge Conquest T42 is fitted with GE Fanuc Series 18-T control, spindle/collet interface, multi-station turret and tailstock. Exterior panels and the control are present. Inside the working area there is pronounced paint loss, staining and surface corrosion around the spindle, turret and rear wall, together with coolant residue from previous use. C-axis function, spindle condition and machining accuracy should be included in the inspection scope.
Its 5,000 rpm spindle, 333 mm turning length and relatively small 6-inch chuck place it in the small-parts category. It is best considered for bushes, pins, hydraulic parts, instrument components and short shafts where access, spindle speed and compact tooling matter more than large diameter capacity.
